Restaurant Ticino
The Ticino Restaurant was opened in 1970 by the Sergi family. After several changes in recent years, the business was taken over in March 2019 by the new owners of the property, the Lustenberger family.
Restaurant Ticino is part of profimusic gmbh, based in Novazzano (Ticino), which was founded in 2004 and is diversely active in the media sector. The profimusic gmbh also includes the media service and the profimedia label. With the label, one could already celebrate, among other things, many charter successes, international contracts, as well as gold and platinum awards. (more informations).
On the top floor of the Restaurant Ticino is the gioiaAcasa, a private guesthouse run by the Lustenberger family. (more informations).
Together with the work of profimedia and the gioiAcasa, the restaurant forms a unity of meeting, recreation, art, culture and culinary experiences. The restaurant is managed by Michelle Lustenberger, together with a wonderful team of family and staff. Restaurant Ticino wants to be a place for its visitors to feel at home and to feel a passion not only for fine food and drinks, but also for community and art. Therefore, the Restaurant Ticino also organizes cultural events in collaboration with profimedia from time to time.
Our Pizzaiolo prepares with pleasure your pizza in the wood-fired oven and delights our guests with special creations and seasonal pizzas. The start to a wonderful evening is given by our surprising aperitifs with selected ingredients from the region. Our offer also includes typical Ticino specialties such as different variations of polenta, risotto and fresh pasta, which are prepared exclusively with products from the region. Our little guests do not miss out either: our children’s menus, like all our dishes, are prepared with love.
