6. Advertising and Remarketing Tools
Use of Google Remarketing: This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). The function is used to present interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. The technology enables us to serve automatically generated, targeted advertisements after your visit to our website. The ads are based on the products and services you clicked on during your last visit to our website. For this purpose, a so-called “cookie” is stored in the browser of the website visitor, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to Google’s advertising network. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you visit our website. Google usually stores information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, date and time of your request. This information is used to associate the web browser with a specific computer. On the pages of the Google advertising network, the visitor may then be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google’s remarketing function. If you have consented to the use at https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated that your browsing history is linked by Google to your Google account and information from your Google account is used for ad personalization, the remarketing function is also carried out across devices. Google collects your Google ID and uses it for the purpose of cross-device recognition. According to its own information, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. However, if you do not wish to use the Google remarketing function, you can deactivate it by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads or in the “My Account” area. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the advertising network initiative by following the instructions at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ch-de/praferenzmanagement or http://optout.networkadvertising.org. For more information on how Google uses cookies, please refer to Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?gl=ch.
Google DoubleClick: This website continues to use Google’s DoubleClick online marketing tool. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Via a cookie ID, a pseudonymous identification number assigned to your browser, Google records which ads are served in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. Information about user activity on our websites is assigned to this pseudonym. This also enables Google and its partner sites to serve ads based on previous visits to websites. Google transmits the information generated by the Doubleclick cookies to a server in the USA and stores it there. Google observes the data protection provisions of the US-EU “Privacy Shield” agreement and is certified for the “Privacy Shield” agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/ps/eu-us-framework. A transfer of data to third parties only takes place within the scope of legal regulations or order processing. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later calls up the advertiser’s website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is the possibility that the provider learns your IP address and stores it. The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The DoubleClick cookies are deleted after six months at the latest. By using DoubleClick, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that might be of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you. You can find more information about DoubleClick at https://support.google.com/faqs/answer/2727482, and general information about data protection at Google at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
